PKMN : Ru's Wardrobe

This has been in progress since I got ORAS haha I really should finish Kaname's, too, if only her Hoenn update at least. 

Anyway...I wanted to remind myself what Ru's outfits throughout each gen had been, especially because different drawings are scattered all over my old account and in three different external hard drives Also, I edited some of the outfits ever since I posted them here on dA, so... yeah.

Left to right, top the bottom, even if the labels are there.

Kanto/Johto A remake of her first outfit (the only one I posted of her in it way back one had a SKULL on it lol). Ru leans more towards black and indigo in her early years, all the same. I didn't draw a separate one for Johto because the outfit was pretty much the same (the stripe on her shirt was white instead of red, that's the only diff). 

Hoenn She still tends to wear long socks (they're longer at this point), and her shoes aren't as high-topped as her first. She also starts having her Pokeballs on her belt. Still darker colors, she starts adding more red to her wardrobe. She also throws in a pair of short-ish, fitted armwarmers.

Sinnoh Ru picks purple instead of indigo when she reaches this region, and the outfit she wears in Snowpoint City is one of the few dresses she's comfortable in (it's lined, and she's generally not too bothered by extremely cold temperatures). Yellow/gold finds its way back into her wardrobe palette, if only as an accent. She also uses boots during her journey in Sinnoh, since they make traveling on foot easier (in her opinion).

Isshu Ru goes back to sneakers, and she wears pants, to avoid changing her outfit completely in case she gets to a cold place (like what she had to do in Sinnoh). She tries using a belt bag instead of her usual backpack (even if she ditches that in favor of a messenger bag later on), 

Kalos She actually starts her 'training' as a Researcher on her journey to Kalos. Also, she doesn't 'appear' too often in this region, and has started spending more time with Shigeru/Gary, learning what she can from him and from Professor Sycamore. She isn't sure what she'd focus on when it comes to Pokemon, though, hence her interest in observing current Pokemon professors and researchers by this time.

Hoenn 2.0 She starts out for Hoenn again later than her cousin Kaname does, but Hoenn isn't her final destination - it's her home in Viridian City; Hoenn is a stop-over. Her return to her roots shows in her outfit, which looks similar to her first one, but in a somewhat brighter palette, showing her growth as a person and as a Pokemon trainer (and researcher). 

I thought at first to draw her 'main' Pokemon in each region but...ultimately, I was too lazy
